Ingredients

  • 10 threads Raihan Saffron
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 4 oz dark chocolate (70%), chopped
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Warm milk with saffron and cardamom over low heat 5 minutes. Do not boil.
  2. Whisk in chopped chocolate until melted. Add sugar, vanilla, salt.
  3. Heat 1 more minute. Pour into mugs.
  4. Top with whipped cream.
