Saffron hot chocolate with cardamom
Ingredients
- 10 threads Raihan Saffron
- 2 cups whole milk
- 4 oz dark chocolate (70%), chopped
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
- Warm milk with saffron and cardamom over low heat 5 minutes. Do not boil.
- Whisk in chopped chocolate until melted. Add sugar, vanilla, salt.
- Heat 1 more minute. Pour into mugs.
- Top with whipped cream.
